As we move into July, Saturday Night Movies in the Park, hosted by the Bellefonte Woman’s Club, keeps going strong with the showing of last yearas hit supernatural comedy Ghostbusters: Afterlife.

This outdoor screening in Talleyrand is free to the public and will have adoorsa open at 7:30pm, with the movie starting at dusk. All are welcome, and children 12 and younger must be accompanied by an adult.

Ghostbusters: Afterlife is the latest entry in the nearly 40 year old Ghostbusters franchise, which began with the blockbuster 1984 Ivan Reitman comedy. Ghostbusters: Afterlife is directed by Jason Reitman, Ivanas son, and stars Carrie Coon, Finn Wolfhard, Mckenna Grace, and Paul Rudd.

In Ghostbusters: Afterlife, a single mother and her two children move to a small town to live in a farmhouse that once belonged to the children’s grandfather. After they arrive, the kids learn more about their late grandfatheras time as one of the original Ghostbusters and get a chance to carry on his legacy. (http://www.ghostbusters.com/)

This movie has laughs and scares, and for the parents and grandparents with fond memories of the original films, youall definitely see more than a few faces youall recognize.

A special feature of this Saturday Night Movie will be the presence of local food truck favorite, Marin Eats. You might have seen them and sampled their tasty menu at Axemann Brewery or Titan Market, and they’ve been a great part of a number of local events since they started up last year.
