The Bellefonte Area Chamber of Commerce was established in 1938 to promote the economic benefit of its members and the development of business in the Bellefonte area. Its service area was later expanded to include the Intervalley Area and now includes Bellefonte, Howard, and Milesburg Borough and the townships of Boggs, Curtin, Howard, Liberty, Benner, Marion, Spring, and Walker.
The ever-increasing membership of the Bellefonte Intervalley Area Chamber of Commerce is comprised of both small and large businesses located throughout Centre County, including the Centre Region, who rely on the Chamber to provide economic development assistance, cooperative marketing opportunities, business promotions, referrals, and health insurance programs. In addition, the Chamber provides advocacy for its members and works closely with local community groups in helping to plan and promote activities which are geared at economic revitalization and development.
This website provides information on business matters for both the public and for members of the Chamber. Members are encouraged to register to have access content set aside just for them.
