“I have been considering the intersections between the small cellular world mixing with the fast-paced-wiz of life, the brief quiet blink of time I get to make my work and the desire to slow it down. Considering the whirl of planets, imagined stories, tension and pulse of community, the pull pf a six-year-old’s hand and the small, ordered mediation of drawn dots. An attempt to figure out what it LOOKS like to crave order as life throws chaos. The mixed-up spaces between home and classroom, studio, and brain.”
