About Our Fair Lady
Our Fair Lady B&B was built in 1883 by John Ardell Jr., a Lumber Baron. The architectural style is Italianate, Second Empire, with a Mansard roof and dormer windows. This Victorian-style type home is known as a “painted lady.”
The owners, Tami and Bob Schuster, named this after the play, My Fair Lady, where they first met in high school. Bob designed the sets and Tami was Eliza Doolittle. The rooms are named after characters in the musical. Each room has been lovingly restored and is elegant yet comfortable. Homemade breakfasts are served daily, and attention to local ingredients is given to each dish. We are happy to accommodate guests who have special dietary restrictions.
