The Bellefonte Arts and Crafts Fair is seeking volunteers to assist at the Information Booth and serve as Ambassadors during the 2025 fair, which will be held on August 1st and 2nd. Below is the job description for the volunteer positions. If you’re interested in volunteering for a shift, please email Ashley E. Information Booth Volunteers
- Provide attendees with the Arts and Crafts Fair brochure.
- Be familiar with the fair layout and distribute fair maps.
- Know the locations of bus stops.
- Outline the locations of handicapped, vendor, and public parking.
- Identify restrooms, food vendors, and children’s activities.
- Assist in selling merchandise and record any items sold (cash only).
- Distribute checks to performers.
- Encourage visitors to sign up for raffle baskets.
Ambassadors
- Walk through the fair to assist artists as needed. You may need to cover their booth while they use the restroom or grab food, but you cannot make sales for them while they are away.
- Be able to push a water cart around to vendors located on High and Allegheny Streets.
- Distribute guidebooks to visitors.
Volunteers are needed on Friday, August 1st, and Saturday, August 2nd. Shifts are 2 hours long, starting at 10:00 AM, with the last shift beginning at 2:00 PM.
