We all make promises to start exercising in the new year, but when February comes around, it gets harder and harder to get back on that treadmill or pick up those weights. Not at Summers Martial Arts, though, because they make sure your exercise routine is anything but routine.
Now entering its third year in Bellefonte, Summers Martial Arts is run under the direction of Internationally Ranked Tang Soo Do Master/Instructor Terry Summers, Oh Dan (5th degree black belt).
Summers Martial Arts offers friendly and fun martial arts instructions to those at all skill and fitness levels. These exciting classes have had students from ages 4 to 70, and they run 4 nights a week, with the Tiny Tiger program for 4-6 year olds running Saturday mornings at 10am.
Master Summersa classes focus on each studenta s martial arts journey, and encouragement and positive reinforcement are key. Summers Martial Arts has an eye toward safety too, as their studio is equipped with a hospital grade air purification system.
Summers Martial Arts is also a great spot to receive personal defense training. These classes, for the non-martial artist, teach effective and surprisingly simple techniques to protect yourself.
And theya re the perfect spot for a unique birthday party for your child. They promise, a a martial arts class with your child at the head of the room,a along with non-stop games, pizza, and no set-up or clean-up for you! What a memorable way for your little one to celebrate their special day!
An extra benefit to taking classes: Summers Martial Arts is a member of the World Tang Soo Do Association, so any belts you earn will be recognized at any WTSDA school worldwide, and you have the opportunity to compete in local or national championships!
