Getting out is easy in Bellefonte
Local parks like Talleyrand offer playgrounds, biking and walking paths, and picnic areas that are popular year-round, giving folks a chance to enjoy fresh air and lovely sights. Boasting nearby state parks, forests, lakes, creeks and tributaries, outdoor enthusiasts can enjoy a plentiful range of activities.
For starters, try hiking, mountain biking, swimming, slalom kayaking, boating, fishing, fly fishing (best in the world!), stand-up paddle boarding, canoeing, geocaching, snowshoeing, cross country skiing, snowmobiling, etc.

The Bellefonte Art Museum offers classes, rotating and permanent exhibits, as well as a wide range of youth programs, including a childrena�s garden.
