Reynolds Mansion / Reynolds Mansion Bed and Breakfast

This opulent mansion, termed the best Bed and Breakfast establishment near a University by the very selective Select Registry of Distinguished Inns in North America, was constructed by Major William Reynolds, who founded the Reynolds Bank. At the cutting edge in its time, a workable central heating system was fueled by additional fireplaces in the basement. The property was later occupied by Colonel W. Fred Reynolds, who was instrumental in locating the Diamond Match Company in Bellefonte. Later used a church, the mansion is now a totally restored, gracious Bed and Break-fast.
