Annie Natt House

The property located at 127 West Curtin was apparently constructed for Mrs. Annie Natt to, at the close of her life, be closer to the homes of her daughters, who had married into the Valentine family, since it is located within blocks of their residences. Little is known about Mrs. Nattas own life, other than she and her husband were originally from England. The home planned for this lot on early plots had a front facing gable and only one bay on the side, which would have made it much smaller than the present structure. It was also clad with stylish architectural elements, likely due to the affiliation of the property with the Valentine family.
