We all know Bellefonte is rich in historical treasures. One of those treasures is extremely important to a group of local girls, and generations of girls before them.
TheA Bellefonte Little HouseA is one of the last remaining Girl Scout Little Houses in the nation. At one time, hundreds of Little Houses existed in cities and towns across the country, serving as meeting places for Girl Scouts and giving a physical home for scouting in the community.
Today, only a few Little Houses remain, including the Bellefonte Little House, which is celebrating 75 years as home to local Girl Scouts. The Little House is critical to Girl Scouts as a place where they can continue to gather and learn the skills they need to grow into tomorrow’s leaders.
The Friends of the Bellefonte Little House want to make sure this culturally significant and valuable resource remains operable for future generations of Girl Scouts, and continues to carry on its proud 75-year tradition. The Friends group will host an important fundraiser to raise money for maintenance and upkeep of the property:

The success of the fundraiser depends on contributions from sponsors who generously donate money, gift cards, merchandise, services and food for the event. More than 150 people are expected to attend and will see your business or your name displayed as a supporter.
