Veggie Gardening Basics, Tuesday, April 20, 6:30 pm, Ready to grow your first vegetable garden or learn some new tips? Bill Lamont, the veggie guru from Penn State Cooperative Extension, will cover the basics of planning, planting, growing and harvesting a vegetable garden for beginners. At this Bellefonte Garden Club program, learn how to make veggie gardening manageable through the summer so you can enjoy fresh veggies right out of the backyard! Creating Gorgeous Container Plantings, Tuesday, May 18, 6:30 pm, Beautiful planters full of gorgeous color and texture are easy to do for your porch or deck, by following a few basic growing and design rules. The folks at Patchwork Farms, who grow thousands of flowering plants and veggie seedlings every spring and design amazing container plantings, will walk us through the basics in this Bellefonte Garden Club program.
