 Saving the Jabco Building649 viewsI wanted to portray the efforts of the firefighters to save what they could. These two men were wetting down the Jabco building (an old-fashion country store) next door to the Bush House. They started watering it a 8 am when embers hit the roof and it started smoldering. The water was pumped from the old canal raceway. Thanks to their efforts, the Bush House was the only building we lost. Photo by Joanne Tosti-Vasey.
